Yearbooks are becoming a great genealogical resource tool. This is true for those researches who may have old photographs, know the family generally where they lived, but are unable to fully identify the person in the photo. In some cases, the graduation picture may be the only one a researcher will ever have. Antique stores, flea markets, used book stores, and even Ebay online are great sources for locating Yearbooks. I'm continually on the hunt for old high school yearbooks from Detroit and other cities within Wayne County. My current focus is for the years of mid 1920's to late 1940's, since the recent availability of the 1930 Census. If you should happen to come across in your travels or know of any old high school yearbooks within the year range and location as described; please contact me so I can make arrangements to purchase the books from you.
