!.  How do I obtain the information and or documents I need with your services?
  
           First fully complete the request form near the bottom of the desired research service page. 

           Use full dates no abbreviations - example, January 1, 2007 and not 1/1/07.

           To add any information, use the the comment box.  Every box within the form has at least 1000 characters or
           better.  No need to worry if there is enough room to enter your data.

           Upon completion of all boxes within the form, use the Submit button.   Your request form is automatically
           forwarded to me for review.  In turn, you will be taken to a confirmation page showing receipt of your request.   
           Please read all the information before closing your browser.    The Genealogy Research Service Request
           Proposal  is sent within a few days via email attachment.  

2.    What is a Research Service Proposal?
     Also known as a Research Service Estimate sent in a MS word document attachment via email.         
      You will note the email Subject heading will contain "Research Proposal for ________" and is Not
      Spam.  The Proposal/Estimate is in 8.5 x 11 with 0.5 margins printable format.  It itemizes your
      request with the data you gave along with my research fees in USA Funds, and payments instructions 

Reminder: 
No research services are ever started without receipt of payment first.   Unless, different arrangements are made and totally agreed upon by us.  Your payment verifies your wanting me to perform the services for you.  Without payment the form you received is still just an estimate with no service to be done by me.

4. When do I finally receive the information and or documents I originally requested?
This depends first upon you and that I have receipt in full of proper payment for the service requested.  Also, time of the year / weather conditons ( Winter and Holiday's ), the total amount of requests I receive per day prior to yours along with the complexity of your request.  Example, newspaper obits /death notices are quickest.  The type of mailing of your documents will be either Priority Mail {2 to 4 days} or First Class {3 to 7 days}

3.  How long does it take before I can expect a return response about my request?
    The average length of time is 7 to 14 working days ( No Sunday's or Holiday's ) from the date of your submission as to
     when you will receive the Reseach Services Proposal via email attachment from me.
5. What factors decide using Priority vesus First Class mailing in the postage fees?
Priority Mailings - are Certified copies.  Examples; Death Records, Marriage Records and Judgement of Divorce are always sent together with delivery confirmation to verify date sent and received.  Certified copies of documents have the raised County Clerk's seal and  become"legal"  as if were the originals.  Primarily used for remarriage, application to obtain social security benefits or property transactions etc.

First Class Mailings -  are Non certified copies of documents that are xeroxed and have no "legal" purpose This is when you just want a copy for your files.  Main example, a microfilm copy of newspaper obituary.
